All Poor Men and Humble
This starts with the lovely Welsh carol, sung to the tune 'Olwen', and the translation by Katharine Roberts, adding extra verses and an end-of-verse refrain. (I start coughing and go very wrong towards the end of the video, apologies to Wil and Dan who nobly carry on as though nothing had happened).

All Poor Men and Humble
All poor men and humble. all lame men that stumble,
Come haste ye, nor feel ye afraid.
For Jesus our treasure, with love past all measure
In lowly poor manger is laid.
Though wise men who found him laid rich gifts around him
Yet oxen they gave him their hay,
And Jesus in beauty, accepted their duty,
Contented in manger he lay, he lay, in manger he lay,
Contented in manger he lay.

Come all ye who hunger, all weak men or stronger,
And see what heaven's bounty hath brought.
With arms full or empty, all commons and gentry
Raise voices and hearts as they ought.
And with angels surrounding and heaven's trumpets sounding
The great alleluia we'll sing.
This child in the manger no changeling or stranger
But to all mankind is born king, a King, this child is born king
And to all mankind is born King

Then haste we to show him the praises we owe him,
Our service he ne'er can despise.
Whose love still is able to show us that stable
Where softly in manger he lies.
When the world is in shadow, and darkness cast on you
The light of the Christ Child will shine
On all ye who need him, His grace interceding
To touch you with favour divine, divine, with favour divine
To touch you with favour divine.

So come all ye who weary, and leave what you carry
And watch till the shadows are gone.
And morning will promise the ending of darkness
For all time, forever, amen
Amen, forever amen, for all time, forever, amen
