Imagine the monsters of the deep stirred to anger at mankind's arrogance and hubris, and start to retaliate with all the power of the winds and waves at their command.
Leviathan
These cliffs where dragons lived in caves
And roared when leap tides try their powers,
These rocks giants hurled in times gone by,
The ocean grain by stony grain devours
Nothing's ever standing still -
The wind with wings of night whips up the dark
And whirls the water up to heaven,
And tides collide and rip the seas apart
Undercurrents of despair, time and time again
Stir to anger great Leviathan,
Who cries "Should Man be master of his fate
When all he does is spoil and waste
And ravage, ruin and desecrate?
Consider now, your time has come O Man..."
And monsters of the deep grow wild
When noise of humankind grants them no peace...
Rage in the waves and bring down storms upon the ships,
And battle for the seas...
The seas; grey, black and changing blues
They're streaming a warning
And sea-creatures hear, the ocean through,
And pray, in tongues of water, for the morning.
