Lord, we pray for the lonely, the weary and lost,
For the helpless and forgotten.
Caught between despair and dying,
With nowhere else to turn but Heaven.

And we cry, Lord, send us your Spirit,
Make your presence be known,
And free this world from injustice and pain...
And Lord, remember your people,
Put an end to the suffering,
Your holy arm be laid bare once again.

Lord, we pray that you search out the secrets we hide;
Purify us, make us holy.
Reveal your kingdom, give us hearts for hope;
Ears to hear and eyes that see.

And we cry, Lord, send us your Spirit.....
